Recently, few of our followers requested for a new design of a 1.5-storey house or split-level house.  I hope you have seen our previous posts featuring 1.5-storey houses.  In case you have missed them, you may read on this article to see what a 1.5-storey house or split-level house is.

Basically, a split-level house has an upper floor but the upper floor does not have an equal size as the main floor.  It means that only one half of the house has an upper floor.  It is like a bungalow with an upper level, which may be one half or one third of the total floor area of the first/ground floor. The most advantage of building a 1.5-storey house is that you can have more space.  Some of the bedrooms can be accommodated upstairs while the living room, kitchen, dining office, entertainment room, and other facilities are located in the main level.

This 1.5 storey that we have here is raised 6 steps higher than the ground giving it a very nice elevation proportional to the height of the upper floor.  There is a balcony which has an appropriate size.

There is one bedroom that is located in the main level, however, two bedrooms are located upstairs. One of which has its own bathroom and a small terrace.
